This programme is designed to provide continuing professional development for higher education leaders and managers, especially experienced managers looking to move into senior management positions. This programme is also intended to meet the needs of participants interested in current policy developments in higher education and their impact on the management of higher education. The programme is intended to meet the needs of academic leaders and managers as well as staff working in professional services.

Introduction to higher education management and policy; Governance, organisation and management in higher education; Strategic and operational planning in higher education; Strategic resource management in higher education; Research methods

Optional units:

Two from: Strategic research management in higher education; Information marketing and institutional research in higher education; Globalisation and internationalisation in higher education; Access and inclusion in higher education
