Undergraduate Degrees

The University of Southampton offers a diverse range of undergraduate courses. Students come from around the world to study in the heart of this seaside city that's just a stone's throw away from London and continental Europe. The main Campus is approximately 3 miles (5 kilometres) from the city centre, providing easy access to all the great amenities in town. We also have our own award-winning bus service, Uni-link. Surrounded by fresh air, green space, sun, sea, surf and so much to do, Southampton certainly has the formula that works for the 40,000 university students city-wide already living here!

The University is a friendly and welcoming place, with a vibrant and dynamic campus culture. We provide a wealth of social and leisure activities for students. We have our own cafes, restaurants, bars, shop, travel centre, medical centres, hair and beauty salon, Students' Union with two split-level bars and restaurant, banks, theatre, concert hall, art gallery, cinema, nightclub and great sporting facilities.

Need info about Halls of Residence?

Halls vary in size, character and in the facilities they offer but all will have individual telephones and access to the internet. Some offer catering or self-catering options, while some sites have a shop, bar, sports facilities, library, music and computer rooms. All halls in Southampton are linked by the Uni-link bus service, which also provides regular services to the city centre, the airport, railway and coach stations.
