Entry requirements
To apply for postgraduate study you must satisfy the general entry requirements of the Academic School and any specific requirements of the programme to which you are applying.
You'll find basic information about these requirements in the Key Facts for each course or research programme. For the latest information or further details, please contact the Academic School directly.
If you are an international student you will need to ensure that your qualifications and English language qualifications meet our entry requirements. Please check the International Students section for further details.
In addition to your academic qualifications and practical experience, you will be expected to show evidence of your interest in the course or research programme, as well as an understanding of the demands of postgraduate study.
Application deadline
There is no University deadline for applications for taught courses or research programmes, however some Academic Schools may have their own application deadlines.
Details are available in the Key Facts for each course or research programme. Please check with the Academic School for the latest information. You should apply as early as possible if you need to secure a UK visa, arrange sponsorship, apply for funding or find accommodation. Deadlines for research funding are usually at least six months in advance of the start date.
