Sport Research Cluster
The Sport Research Cluster is a multidisciplinary group that draws its members from across the University. Research foci include pedagogy, politics, health, social work, law and criminology, history, physiology, business and management, and leadership, and we are interested in expanding into other areas. Through these areas, we aim to explore sport and physical activity from a range of perspectives, and to promote dialogue and interdisciplinary research between members from disparate backgrounds.
Starting in 2008-09, we are running a series of research seminars that will be open to all. In addition, through meetings and a BlackBoard site, we will support research bid and publication development.
If you have a research interest in any aspect of sport and physical activity, then we would like to invite you to join us. The group is open to all staff and research students. If you would like any more information, please contact me.
