The Fulbright Post Graduate Awards are aimed at students wishing to study in the UK in any subject and provide tuition and maintenance for the first year of study.
The US-UK Fulbright Awards scheme was set up in 1948 to enhance mutual understanding between the US and the UK. It was hoped that the awards would help facilitate an exchange of ideas between the two countries and introduce Fulbrighters to new ideas.
