This Foundation offers Foundation Grants to help women graduates with their living expenses (not fees) while registered for study or research at an approved institution of higher education in the United Kingdom.
Women graduates from both the UK and overseas are eligible to apply. You must be studying or intend to study in the United Kingdom at postgraduate or post doctoral level. Any subject or field of study will be considered . There is no upper age limit. The amount of the Foundation Grant will be decided by the BFWG Charitable Foundation, but normally will not exceed £2,500.
This group can also can offer an emergency grant to graduate women who face an unforeseeable financial crisis whilst engaged in study or research at institutions of higher education in the United Kingdom. Grants are not likely to exceed £500. They are offered three times a year in December, March and June.
