Description

The International Curriculum and Assessment Authority Group was formed in 1989 and offers comprehensive educational services in the UK and abroad, with a particular understanding of the role of technology in education. Current programmes include training over 30,000 teachers, face-to-face and on-line, assessment and examination activity for over 70,000 participants per cycle; and professional development and skills based training for 5,000 delegates.

The ICAA Research Scholarship will be awarded annually to a School of Education student starting a research degree (MPhil or PhD) in the field of Information Technology in Education or its applications.

The award will be for 3 years and will cover the cost of full-time fees for a UK/EU candidate or up to £4,000 for an overseas candidate.

If you would like to be considered for this award, you should apply in the normal way for the research programme of your choice.

You should also write a separate letter addressed to the Head of School, stating your wish to be considered for the ICAA Scholarship, giving a short explanation of your financial circumstances and how the remaining costs of your programme of study will be met.

Deadline for application is 28 May 2006. The outcome will be announced by the end of June.
