Equal opportunities and diversity
We are committed to the principle of accessibility: that education and training should be available to everyone, at the same level, and on equal terms. Research, course and staff information is available both on this site and on the main University of Southampton website which has additional accessibility features. Click here for more information.
The University confirms its commitment to a comprehensive policy of equal opportunities for students, in which individuals are selected and treated on the basis of their relative merits and abilities and are given equal opportunities within the University. The University is committed to a programme of action to make the policy fully effective. Those involved in all selection processes are required to uphold the policy of the University when considering applications from students or staff. Additionally, we positively acknowledges the value of diversity and welcome applications from candidates from a range of backgrounds.
