Biography

Brenda Johnston is a Senior Research Fellow in the school of Education at the University of Southampton. Her particular areas of interest and expertise lie in the fields of higher education pedagogy, especially criticality, academic writing and assessment. She is also interested in issues of widening participation and graduate employment. She is a founder member, together with Geraldine Price and Tilly Mortimore, of the Higher Education Research Group: Pedagogy and the Student Experience.
