I completed a BSc in Sport Science and English at St Mary’s University College in 2000, and having pursued the Sport and Exercise Psychology routeway within the Sport Science side of my degree, chose to further my study in this area. I undertook my MSc part time in Sport Science following a Sport and Exercise Psychology path, at University College Chichester (UCC). Alongside my studies I worked in the recruitment industry and also did some associate lecturing at UCC in Sport Psychology.

Since graduating from my MSc in 2002 I have worked at the University of Southampton as a Senior Teaching Fellow on both the Sport Studies and Managing and Developing Sport.

My main areas of teaching are within Sport and Exercise Psychology. My research interests are within the field of exercise adherence, and Winter Sports
