Gayathri Wijayawardenawas born and educated in Sri Lanka. She currently works at the British Safety Council, Hammersmith, London and is a Research Fellow in the School of Education at the University of Southampton. Her particular areas of interest and expertise lie in the fields e-learning, blended learning with multimedia and software development. She is also experienced in project management and consultancy.
