How to Find Us
By Car via M3
Exit at Junction 14 following the signs for Southampton A33 (not Southampton Docks). Follow the A33 (Bassett Avenue) through two roundabouts until you arrive at a major intersection with the University’s Medical and Biological Sciences building to your left. Turn left onto Burgess Road then take the first right onto University Road. Please note that parking can be very difficult in term time.
By Car via M27
Exit at Junction 5 (Southampton Airport / Eastleigh). If coming from the east, take the first exit off the roundabout. If coming from the west, the fourth exit. Follow the A335 dual carriageway through two sets of traffic lights. At the third light, the road divides. Follow the right hand lane onto Burgess Road (McDonald's will be on your left). University Road is about 3/4 of a mile ahead on your left. A large sign for the University will be seen on the left just before the turning.
By Train
Fast trains from London and Bournemouth/Weymouth stop at both Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway Stations. Trains from Portsmouth and Bristol/South Wales stop at Southampton Central Station. There are taxi ranks at both stations. Local services and slow trains from London and Bournemouth/Weymouth also stop at Swaythling Station which is only a 20 minute walk from the Highfield Campus.
